For pen-and-paper trivia hosts
Keep the paper. Lose the grading pile.
Snap each team's answer sheet on your phone. Pencils Down reads the handwriting, checks it against your answer key, and hands you only the answers worth a second look. The bar TV leaderboard updates on its own.
Demo video coming soon: one round graded start to finish.
How it works
-
Snap the sheet
Teams write on printed Pencils Down pads. Collect them and photograph each one with your phone.
-
Fix the flags
Clear answers are scored from your key. Anything doubtful comes back as a flag. Tap Match, Half or Miss.
-
Show the board
The leaderboard on the bar TV updates as you go. Reveal the top teams when you're ready.
Your key, your points
- Points come only from your answer key. The software never invents a score.
- Every change you make is kept in an edit log, so disputes are easy to settle.
- Photos are read and thrown away. They are never stored.
- No player accounts. Teams can also answer by phone with a room code.
